Barbed wire is ugly and it hurts.
Pine logs are lovely and they smell good.
Last weekend, Eagle Scout Chris Miller and a dozen of his closest friends spent the days building a zig-zag log fence along Magnolia Road on Boulder Open Space property.
Miller attends Holy Family High School. When it came time to work on his required Eagle Scout project, he approached Boulder County Open Space administrators who welcomed him with open arms and told him to build a fence on their Reynolds Ranch land.
