Panthers end regular season

Last Thursday, Oct. 17, the Nederland Panthers played their second to last game of the regular season. They traveled to Gilpin County to take on the Gilpin Eagles who beat them earlier in the season in a fiercely competitive match. The Eagles prevailed then and they prevailed on Thursday, with a 3-0 win over the Panthers. Game scores were 13-25, 18-25 and 11-25.
There were no stats available for the game.
On Saturday, Oct. 19, the Ned girls fought hard against the Estes Park Bobcats but were defeated in three games. The game scores were 15-25, 8-25 and 16-25.
The girls began league playoffs this week beginning with a trip to Limon who have a 13-6 record. Nederland has 3-16 record so the Panthers are going to have to up their game to moved forward in post-season play.
