Nederland’s sparse but spunky cross-country team traveled Friday, September 20, to Fort Collins to compete in the John Martin Invitational Meet. With three girls members counted and two males, the team did not place but the individuals are coming up with personal bests. In the Aug. 30th meet, Bailey Kuechenmeister had a time of 23:24.97. In the John Martin meet, she had cut her time to 21:11 and Mackenzie Radandt cut her 25:43.4 time to 24:02.3.

On Friday, Sept. 27, the Panther team traveled to Viele Lake in Boulder to compete in the Pat Patten Invitational, the last regular season meet. The girls continued to improve their time. Kuechenmeister dropped her 5K time to 20:56.
The number one runner, Isabelle Kennedy of Fairview High had a time of 18:51. When it comes to post-season competition, the girls will go up against other schools in their 2A division.
