They’re on a roll. The Gilpin County High School Eagles won their last two games, giving them a 7-3 record for the season. On Wednesday, Sept. 25, they skunked Sheridan High School in a 3-0 match, wearing them down to huge third game loss, 25-19, 25-15 and 25-9.

Andromeda Ramsey: 8 kills, 23 attacks, 2 aces, 10 serves, 3 blocks, 11 digs, 13 service returns.
Ariel Planck: 2 digs
Ashlen Cortez: 2 kills, 6 attacks, 4 aces, 25 serves, 8 digs, 19 assists.
Sarah Baisley: 5 kills, 20 attacks, 1 ace, 9 serves, 9 digs, 6 serve returns
Sierra Planck: 4 kills, 19 attacks, 13 serves, 10 digs, 6 serve returns.
K. Wulf Balosch: 7 kills, 19 attacks, 2 aces, 7 serves, 5 digs, 5 assists, 9 service returns.
On Friday, Sept. 27, the Eagles were faced with a tough opponent in Community Christian, but prevailed in a five-game match, 3-2. It was a well-deserved win as the the Crusaders pushed the Eagles to wall in every but the last game.
Game scores were 25-22, 21-25, 12-25, 25-21, 15-3.
The Eagles’ next home game will be on Saturday, Oct. 5, against Miami-Yoder at 2 p.m.
