Boulder Ranger District Office closed, caution advised to Forest visitors

BOULDER, Colo. – U.S. Forest Service Boulder Ranger District office is closed today, Sept. 12, 2013 and will remain closed until weather conditions change.

Visitors to National Forest System lands within Boulder Ranger District boundary are advised to check their local weather stations and department of transportation for latest road and weather conditions before heading out to the woods. Caution is advised as persistent rain has made some areas very wet and muddy.

District Ranger Sylvia Clark said, “We want visitors to enjoy their time visiting National Forest System lands and get home safely after every trip. It is important to always check weather conditions before leaving home while also being prepared for a variety of conditions. Weather along the Front Range can change quickly, especially at higher altitudes.”
