The glorious golden gateway to the season opens for all of us with the Summer Solstice.

In astrology, the beginning of the sign of Cancer signifies the start of summer. This year the solstice occursimgres on June 20 at 11 am. The Sun bids farewell to the lively sign of Gemini and joins gentle Venus and caring Mercury, already in the sign of the Moon Children.
The children of the forest and the children of the mountains dance through the gateway of the solstice. The theme for the sign of Cancer is the tribe; all of the interpersonal connections that we have, both familial and planetary. On Sunday June 23, the Capricorn moon heralds its annual full moon, opposite Cancer.
