Calling all youth hockey players

Herb Pugmire

Interested in playing Ice Hockey? Next week is registration for the Nederland Youth Hockey Association. Come sign up your child for a winter’s worth of community fun and skill building.
The Nederland Youth Hockey Association (NYHA) started 15 years ago in 1997 playing on a backyard rink. It then progressed to entertaining children on various ponds in the area, ending up on Mud lake. Then the Town of Nederland and many volunteers developed the Nederland Ice Rink, where NYHA plays and practices today.
The NYHA is a Colorado non-profit corporation promoting, organizing and teaching hockey to boys and girls of Nederland and the surrounding mountain areas. NYHA is intent on reducing barriers of entry to the sport of youth hockey, and intends to maintain the fun family atmosphere that has made hockey at the Ned Rink so special.
Come join us and experience the fun of playing youth hockey in a beautiful mountain setting — pond hockey style.
